Mission Statement
The Reptilia Education and Conservation Foundation (RECF) is committed to inspiring a love for Reptiles through immersive, curriculum-based educational programs for children across Canada. Our mission is to provide hands-on learning experiences that cultivate curiosity, respect, and understanding of these remarkable creatures.
We are dedicated to rescuing reptiles from private surrenders, bylaw confiscations, and provincial interventions, ensuring they receive the care and sanctuary they deserve. Beyond our borders, we actively engage in global and local conservation initiatives, striving to protect reptile species and their habitats, with a particular focus on preserving Ontario’s rich Reptile biodiversity.
Through education, rescue, and conservation, RECF seeks to build a future where Reptiles are respected and protected, fostering a community that values the vital role these animals play in our ecosystems.
